Q. What type of work do you do in your facilities?
A. We do a wide range of services including but not limited to diagnose and repair engines and component parts, perform preventive maintenance, and make best-value decisions to repair or replace. We also perform express-related services including tire changes, minor brake repairs, electrical work, suspension, door seals, and minor body work.

Q. Do you have a location near me?
A. We have facilities located all over the United States. Please click on the Job Search link to find a maintenance job in your area or click here to find a map of all of our locations.

Q. Do I have to pay for my uniform?
A. Schneider National supplies uniforms, prescription safety glasses and a safety shoe discount.

Q. Do I need to have my own tools?
A. For our Mechanic and Shop Tech role, you must have the following tools:

These tools are not required initially, but must be purchased upon completion of Phase III training.
NOTE: TOOLS MUST BE ACCEPTABLE QUALITY (RECOMMEND CRAFTSMAN, MAC, SNAP-ON, ETC.)

Q. Does Schneider National provide training?
A. Schneider National provides extensive training for it’s maintenance associates. Technical training provides you with the tools to perform the duties within your assigned role and comprehensive training provides information about growth opportunities.
