We have great advancement potential, too—enabling our mechanics to develop a career that really delivers: Mechanic Assistant Mechanic Assistants provide general, non-diagnostic repairs. In this role, you’ll complete work in the areas of tire changing, electrical and accident repairs as well as handling the corresponding computer and paperwork. This is a great starting role, with endless advancement potential. General Mechanic General Mechanics perform trailer and truck repairs and general preventative maintenance. You’ll be responsible for completing repair work in the areas of tire changing, hydraulic, electrical and accident repairs with the corresponding paperwork. If you’re a tech school graduate, this is the career for you. Senior Mechanic Senior Mechanics perform all tractor and trailer computer diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance and corrections while following standard operating procedures. You will perform all major repairs on our equipment. Master Mechanic Master Mechanics diagnose and repair highly complex electrical and mechanical systems, primarily on tractors. You’ll complete rebuilds and make best value and safety decisions around operating, repairing or replacing components. Must be ASE certified. Lead Mechanic Lead Mechanics are the senior mechanics on shift. In this role, you’ll make repair decisions and work to coach and mentor others in the shop. Service Advisor Service Advisors are the shop interface for drivers. As a Service Advisor, you’ll provide work estimations (repair time frames), define work that needs to be completed and set up work assignments in the shop. Shop Floor Leader Shop Floor Leaders are accountable for facilitating the successful management of the shop. In this role, you’ll focus on cost management and improving efficiency, as well as managing the shop in the Shop Manager’s absence. Shop Manager Shop Managers are responsible for the successful management of the shop. You’ll be responsible for creating action plans and the development and execution of long and short-range goals, and effectively leading the overall shop team. Shop Supervisor Shop Managers are responsible for the successful management of the shop. You’ll be responsible for creating action plans and the development and execution of long and short-range goals, and effectively leading the overall shop team.
