We now offer two impressive lease options — giving you the opportunity to make the best decision for your business.
Mileage-based
Owner-operators who lease with Schneider have the ability to take advantage of our extensive freight network when operating under our mileage-based lease option. This opportunity allows you to take the worry out of finding your next load. Our newly revamped, state-of-the-art dispatching technology filters the loads in your given area and pairs you with the best option for your current situation, ensuring the best utilization possible. It’s a great opportunity for those who are new to the business or for those whose main focus is being behind the wheel. We pay $0.90/mile for all carrier-directed miles (loaded and empty) plus fuel surcharge.
Choice-based
This option that provides owner-operators the opportunity to make trade-off decisions on load assignments and revenue paid to the truck. One of the great advantages of this model is that the contractor has the ability to view all the available freight. Not only for that one day, but also to look ahead and select the next load.

Van Division

Expedited/Team Division
One of the most satisfying—and lucrative trucking jobs you can find is with our Expedited Division. Owner-Operators may team with a friend, spouse or relative and take advantage of 99% no-touch freight and 70% drop-and-hook. Our teams also receive priority dispatch and the support of advisors who are with you every step of the way. Hazmat is required for both team drivers.
Dedicated Division
Dedicated accounts showcase services to one primary customer and offer owner-operators consistent freight on familiar routes. Our Dedicated drivers enjoy frequent home time and premium pay.
Tank Division
With more than 1,200 trailers, our Tank division is the nationwide leader in liquid tank transport. More than 75% of our loads are non-hazardous.
