Upgrade to a new career.
Whether you are a driving school student, a recent graduate or just starting the school selection process, we’ll help make sure you’re properly prepared for your new career.
Finding a truck driving school is the first step toward pursuing a professional driving career. Schneider does not have its own driving school, but we do hire graduates from hundreds of truck driving schools across the country.
Select your state to find a driving school near you:
Schneider is committed to the next generation of truck drivers. It’s the reason we offer up to $6,000 in tuition reimbursement to recent graduates. Reimbursement is also available for refresher courses. Here’s how it works:
Truck driving schools do a great job training students how to drive. Schneider builds on that training to make sure you are prepared, safe and comfortable before you hit the road.
After you graduate from truck driving school and join the Schneider family, you’ll go through an orientation program for new drivers. It begins with one week of classroom training, followed by one to three weeks of on-the-job training with a Training Engineer. You will be paid during training before moving to mileage pay.
You won’t find another trucking company with the training, support, stability and options that Schneider has for recent truck driving school graduates. Watch this video to hear more from the people who know best: drivers like you.
Schneider is happy to help you on your journey to becoming a professional truck driver. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call a recruiter at 800-44-PRIDE (800-447-7433).
