Before looking forward to 2020, let’s reflect on 2019 by looking back at 15 of Schneider’s highlights:

  1. Mark Rourke was welcomed as Schneider’s fourth CEO in 84-year company history.
  2. Over 3,200 Schneider associates completed the Driver Experience course to learn more about the day in the life of a truck driver.
  3. Schneider’s longest-tenured female driver, Nan Cunningham, who’s been with the company since 1989, made a trip to Green Bay, Wis.
  4. Schneider’s Bulk division celebrated 50 years of hauling specialty chemical and liquid bulk tanker freight.
  5. Over 100 drivers submitted photos for the Semi Showdown: Truck Photo Faceoff contest on Facebook.
  6. The Schneider Foundation donated $23,000 to NeighborWorks Green Bay to fund a solar panel installation project on their historically-significant building, which is also Schneider’s birthplace.
  7. The West Memphis facility was awarded with Large Business of the Year by the local chamber of commerce for its charitable giving and volunteerism.
  8. More healthy meals for truck drivers were made on Herbs with Herb, including chicken fajitas, chili and corned beef.
  9. Schneider was featured on Sirius XM Road Dog Trucking Live to discuss the key points that make Schneider stand out among other companies in the trucking industry.
  10. It was announced Schneider would be adding holiday pay for drivers in 2020.
  11. Schneider’s internship program was named one of the top 100 in the country and one of the top 30 for diversity.
  12. Wisconsin congressmen Bryan Steil and Mike Gallagher visited Schneider to learn more about our business, equipment and technology.
  13. The Houston intermodal team was named the 2019 Featured Female Truck Drivers.
  14. A veteran driver reenlisted into the Air Force at Schneider’s Chicago facility with help from an operations manager and driving instructor.
  15. Schneider associates raised over $340,000 in Schneider’s annual United Way campaign.
