Individually, we may have different aspirations with different definitions of personal success. Some of us want to expand and develop our talents right where we are with no real interest in scaling the corporate ladder. Some of us are born leaders. Some of us want to run the company someday. Your career path is unique.
Schneider believes in personal development and has chosen to invest in associates who want to further their education by reimbursing education expenses in pursuit of a degree.
Schneider’s Tuition Assistance Program is a dollar-for-dollar benefit, since reimbursed educational expenses are excluded from income, hence tax-free.
Tuition assistance is available to all regular full-time and part-time Office, Diesel Technician and Warehouse associates paid through U.S. payroll. To be eligible for this benefit, you must complete six months of employment and have a “Full Performance” rating. Course(s) must be taken online or in a classroom setting with an accredited college, university or technical/vocational school. The course(s) must be part of a degree program — in business, transportation and logistics, information technology (IT) or a job-related field.
Full-time associates can receive up to $5,000 annually with a $10,000 lifetime maximum. Part-time associates can receive up to $2,500 annually with a $5,000 lifetime maximum. Schneider’s tuition assistance plan will reimburse the cost of tuition, books and reasonable class registration fees for pre-approved course(s).
The Tuition Assistance Program is one of many resources available at Schneider to help you to maximize your professional journey.
