Job Description

 

Schneider Enterprise Resources, LLC has an opening for an IT Business Intelligence Analyst Lead in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

 

Provide leadership on projects involving analytics (Enterprise BI, Advanced Analytics, etc.). Support enterprise software design standards and help team members appropriately follow team best practices. Keep development best practices current and relevant. Gather and promote best-practices and usage of the toolset. Conduct forward-thinking research to keep the tools current and relevant. Work with technical teams within group as well as outside group to ensure effective delivery of systems. Promote team perspective throughout the TECH department. Promote best practices for testing for the department. Assist junior team members in development of test plans and scripts (individual, system integration, business partner). Perform root cause analysis and fixes for complex product defects. Resolve complex deployment, warranty, and post warranty issues and defects. Design, code, test at multiple system levels (individual, integrated system, performance), implement, and provide detailed support for BI supported systems and third-party packages. Lead large projects, communicating to mid management, review performances, provide direction, and influence outcomes. Represent the team when reviewing third-party packages with analytics capabilities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and five years of related experience.

 

Experience must have included:

  • Experience with Oracle fusion middleware, including OBIEE, ODI, and BIP, and sourcing information from Oracle application products including Siebel or EBS as well as custom built application systems;
  • Experience with standard software development life cycle methodologies (i.e. Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall);

  • Knowledge of BI related principles including extract, transform, and load (ETL), data modeling, and data warehousing;

  • Knowledge of relational databases and structured query language (SQL) skills;

  • Experience with effectively communicating technical information and concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences; and

  • Experience leading technical projects or acting as a technical team lead.
