Senior Carrier Qualifications Specialist

Schneider has an immediate need for a detail oriented Senior Carrier Qualifications Specialist to qualify and onboard new carriers for the Schneider Transportation Management (STM) operation. The qualification of the new carriers will involve review of contracts, insurance, safety, authority, and a variety of other background checks on the carrier. You will assist prospective carriers with the onboarding site, freight board, and any general questions the carrier may have about doing business with Schneider.

About the Role:

  • Qualify and set up new carriers for STM by reviewing and analyzing a variety of factors
  • Pro-actively work with new carriers who enroll on the website to qualify them, as well as introduce them to other programs
  • Turn down carriers who do not meet our qualification standards
  • Accurately process and enter in carrier contracts and insurance documents for each applying carrier
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values

 Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two to four years of relatable experience
  • Effective communication skills, listening, oral and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work load, be attentive to details, have effective multi-tasking abilities and be self directed
