Schneider is seeking a data driven Reporting Analyst to combine the measurement needs related to a business unit with the insights necessary to assist others in determining strategic initiative success. This role has intimate knowledge of our business processes and the associated flow of data to enhance current measures and assist in providing alternate solutions to new measurement challenges.

About the role:

  • Support on-going Enterprise initiatives to govern ad-hoc report development and deploy new measurement processes aligned with our corporate release strategy while understanding cost drivers and revenue potential.
  • Present and explain reporting/technology solutions to business issues regarding both internal and external customers.
  • Assist in the identification of technology/process inefficiencies, present potential solutions, and stay abreast of advances in technology.
  • Test and validate output to ensure the accuracy of new analytic/insight applications or processes.
  • Ability to import and manipulate data using Panda data frames/automate tasks via Panda.
  • Ability to adjust reports to lead to full automation.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience and 1-2 years relatable experience 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others, resulting in a positive outcome
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills 
  • Reporting capabilities experience in Business Intelligence software (Cognos, Business objects, SAS, etc)
  • Advanced skills to include working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of programming methodologies such as object-oriented programming and sequential processing, as well as programming techniques such as Functions, Loops, Conditional Statements, etc. (examples: VBA, SQL) preferred; demonstrated use of Python/Panda for automation/data extraction
