Schneider is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join our thriving team! This role is accountable for the management and development of Transportation and Customer contracts and amendments at the corporate level to insure agreements meet our business objectives. This role works closely with Sector Leadership, Sales, Business Development, Operations, Pricing, Purchasing, Finance, and the Corporate Legal Department. Provides a summary of contract issues, recommends changes, and provides insight into potential risks. Coaches and/or assists with contract negotiations as needed.

About the role: 

  • Reviews, analyzes, suggests changes and makes known any and all issues and concerns of the contracts, and attachments to contracts.
  • Represents the Legal Department for various business matters, meetings and work groups. Serves as a Legal consultant for business leaders.
  • Makes recommendations regarding standard contract provisions to impacted business groups (e.g., Safety, Carrier Compliance, Insurance, Claims).
  • Maintains consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Ideal candidates will have:  

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; Law Degree from accredited law school or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Two to Four years of relevant experience. 
  • Knowledge of transportation law preferred.
