Schneider is seeking a Dynamic Account Director to minimize overall logistics cost for the customer. This role is responsible for service performance, staffing, carrier selection, pricing, generating savings initiatives, customization, engineering, implementation scheduling and continuous improvement planning.  

About the role:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Account Management staff to identify global business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts that meet and exceed new business revenue goals.
  • Develop a business strategy and implement plans for customers logistics needs and ensure all support functions/departments understand their role.
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Ideal candidates will have:  

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Managment or related field required and 6 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and develop leaders of people
  • Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing and developing high performance teams.
