Schneider is seeking a Benefits Director to join our thriving team! You will be responsible for developing strategy, executing operating plans, and providing leadership for the enterprise benefits and leave administration functions. You will be a a member of the Human Resources leadership team and contribute to the development and implementation of the corporate HR agenda. This role has enterprise scope and requires management and coordination of projects across all departments and lines of business.

About the role:

  • Overall accountability for the benefits, leave administration and time off business processes and teams
  • Research, define and advance the enterprises benefits vision, philosophy, strategy, plans and policies resulting in alignment with business strategies for a high performance environment
  • Lead through complex benefits and leave administration projects
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, Masters a plus
  • 5 years of professional experience in the benefits area; or the equivalent
  • Experience leading people
  • Working knowledge of federal and state laws including ERISA, DOL, ADA, FMLA, etc.
