Schneider is seeking an IT Server Analyst to be responsible for operational tasks that come to the Hybrid Cloud Platform Services Team. These tasks include but are not limited to server builds using pre-existing tools and processes, monitoring environment for system failures, working tasks as directed by senior team members, initial triage of incidents. This is an individual contributor professional position working on a complex server farm that is both virtual and physical and covers Windows, Linux  and other operating systems.

About the role:

  • Monitor existing physical and virtual servers.
  • Install, monitor and troubleshoot open systems operating systems.
  • Work with other team members to support, respond to, and troubleshoot existing server issues.

Ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience. Less than one year relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of or experience in multiple operating systems such as LINUX, Windows, or VMWare ESX.
  • Knowledge of monitoring server systems and equipment.
  • Understanding of Agile project management methodology.
