The coronavirus pandemic has created uncertainty everywhere, but there’s one thing it’s made clear: Truck drivers are essential workers. Now, Schneider is rewarding that essential work and inspiring performance.
We’re amazed and grateful for how effectively our drivers navigated the challenges with the utmost professionalism. To recognize these efforts, Schneider is offering a special addition to performance pay programs for all company truck drivers — including any drivers who join the company by Aug. 1, 2020.
Some call it hazard pay, we call it Performance Pay Plus; either way, it rewards drivers for the essential work they perform.
Performance Pay Plus program details
Increased performance pay rates will be for Schneider drivers’ third quarter performance results (paid in November 2020, December 2020 and January 2021 — just in time for the holidays).
New pay potential = base pay + standard performance pay + Performance Pay Plus.
