Military Apprenticeship Program
Put your VA benefits to better use
Let the experience you’ve gained and the benefits you’ve earned in the military open the door to a new career with Schneider. You may be eligible for up to $1,515 per month above and beyond your Schneider paycheck. Fill out a Military Contact form, and one of our military recruiters will reach out to discuss what benefits you qualify for.
What is the Military Apprenticeship Program?
Because of our long-standing commitment to veterans, Guard members and Reservists, and the opportunities we offer, the Department of Veterans Affairs has accepted Schneider into its exclusive 12-month Apprenticeship Program.
During your first year working for Schneider, you are eligible to earn a monthly educational benefit check from the VA in addition to your Schneider paycheck and other military program benefits — up to $1,515 each month, depending on your years of service.
How the Military Apprenticeship Program works
- If you have your GI Bill® or Post 9/11 available, check out the latest benefit amounts or find out your exact amount or eligibility by calling the VA at 888-442-4551.
- Get a head start by completing Schneider’s Military Contact form.
- We’ll work closely with you and the VA to verify your qualifications for the program and ensure you receive the maximum benefit.
If you have questions during this process, call a Schneider military recruiter any time at 866-838-7235.

“It was perfect to have that extra money right away coming out of the military. All I had to do was confirm my eligibility, and Schneider and the VA took care of the rest. It was an easy process, and the program made a big difference my first year.”
