Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Mexico City to handle all pay roll-related responsibilities. The Payroll Analyst will research tax and law changes to ensure Schneider’s processes remain compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze payroll to ensure accuracy.
- Make recommendations based on payroll findings.
- Resolve payroll issues through troubleshooting, researching and communicating with the necessary parties in a timely manner.
- Document resolutions in detail and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Work on projects related to improving processes and upgrading systems.
- Prepare and create journal entries.
- Generate reports with compiled data for management to review and analyze.
- Maintain an understanding of all tax changes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance.
- 2-4 years of payroll experience.
- Excellent financial analysis skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
