Schneider is seeking a Claims Specialist to join our thriving team! Our Claims Specialist's collect information from multiple sources to support the enterprise's claims processing. In addition, Claims Specialists ensure our multi- stage claims processes are followed and provide support to the department ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers and our business.

As a Claims Specialist you will:

  • Create and detail claims from various sources such as incoming telephone calls and email communication
  • Update claims with details such as loss details, subrogation status, photos, insurance information and estimates
  • Coach drivers through the process of submitting various claims
  • Complete initial reviews, determine who is at fault based on information obtained such as photos, driver information and customer input
  • Negotiate with the customer for the best settlement value

Ideal Candidates will:

  • Have a high school diploma/GED or have equivalent work experience
  • Be skilled in communication, and have stong listening skills
