Is your expertise in Supply Chain Engineering and Management? The Supply Chain Engineer role uses operations research and statistical tools and techniques to analyze and improve our customers supply chain and transportation operations. Also the ability to develop practical recommendations to solve business problems. In addition, develop strong customer relationships and understand the business operations to ensure the utilization of appropriate methods, models and tools in the creation of practical solutions. About the role:

  • You will utilize existing models, analytical methods, and software to engineering problems to help inform business decision-makers
  • In this role you will apply advanced knowledge of mathematical optimization modeling and linear programming solution techniques
  • You will assist engineers in creating new optimization and tool development projects
  • You will present engineering analysis and other advanced analytical research to both technical and non-technical business audiences, to interpret results, understand business implications, and appropriately influence decision-makers.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering or analytical field or 2 years equivalent experience
  • The ability to build effective business relationships with customers, peers and associates
  • An ability to understand the uses and limitations of statistical and optimization methodologies to select the appropriate methodology to complete assignments
  • Strong PC/Windows background with a working knowledge of databases (Access) and spreadsheets (Excel) and an understanding of the capabilities and uses of database applications
