Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Social Media Strategist in Green Bay to develop and execute processes that expand Schneider’s social media networks and online communities to create a positive, engaged and loyal audience. The Social Media Strategist will foster authentic connections with followers, brand advocates and key community members, ensuring alignment with values and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate meaningful conversations, spotlight community members and create an inclusive environment where participants feel seen, heard and valued.
  • Drive Schneider’s social media strategy and brand advocacy marketing plan to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to modify usage of social media. 
  • Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage platforms and activities for greater reach, visibility and engagement.
  • Draft and execute launch and transition plans to successfully implement new social and brand advocacy strategies.
  • Partner with content creators, marketing teammates and community members to source and amplify user-generated content that highlights community stories and successes. 
  • Collaborate with the paid advertising team to execute holistic social strategies.
  • Manage messaging and comments with customers, drivers and other stakeholders in a timely, professional and solution-oriented manner. 
  • Act on behalf of the Schneider brand to be the voice to the social media community.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with key community members, brand advocates and influencers to foster long-term loyalty and advocacy.
  • Analyze digital marketing plans and social media strategies to identify areas of opportunity. 
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on community growth, engagement and key opportunities for connection.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media platforms and online communities for a brand or organization.
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding social networks and fostering an engaged, loyal audience.
  • Expert in social media platforms, social marketing tools and social listening software.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
