Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Transportation Analyst in Mexico City to assign freight to carriers while balancing capacity. The Transportation Analyst will work with Equipment Planners to minimize delays and idle time. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build strong working relationships with a variety of internal teams. 
  • Leverage systems and processes to achieve safe and legal transit. 
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating daily shipment status reports to customers. 
  • Monitor carrier performance. 
  • Provide rail services support to the U.S. team when needed. 
  • Find ways to improve processes by eliminating inefficiencies and implementing better communication. 
  • Generate fulfillment scorecards to track volume. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Able to make a positive impact.
