Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Paralegal in Green Bay to perform legal-related tasks that are directed by Schneider’s attorneys. The Paralegal will provide timely and accurate information to the Legal Team to help enable strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary legal research to assist the Legal Team with providing accurate advice to internal clients.
- Review and revise basic contractual agreements and amendments.
- Prepare first drafts of correspondence, affidavits and other official statements for court filings, hearings and proceedings.
- Review responses to subpoenas and requests for records.
- Organize legal files and materials while ensuring security and ease of access.
- Manage attorneys’ calendars.
- Draft no-solicitation and engagement letters.
- Work on special legal projects as assigned.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Paralegal certificate
- 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with legal research and writing.
- Authorized Notary Public or able to become authorized within 60 days of hire.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
