Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Legal Assistant in Green Bay to provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals and contract managers within Schneider’s legal department. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for managing correspondence, calendars, meetings, deadlines and travel coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation, formatting and proofreading of legal documents and presentations.
- Support processes like matter intake, matter tracking, legal billing and invoice processing.
- Route, track and organize legal documents and contracts.
- Manage communications with internal clients and external law firms.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical legal files.
- Gather and sort information for subpoenas, record requests and litigation discovery.
- Support compliance with document retention, legal holds and service-of-process workflows.
- Coordinate execution workflows for agreements using e-signature platforms.
Skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of administrative or legal support experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Working knowledge of NetDocuments, OneSpan Sign and Onit.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
