The best way to understand what a job involves is to talk to people who do it. In the case of Schneider’s warehouse jobs, we’re making that easy. You can watch our warehouse video or read the testimonials below from Schneider warehouse associates who have chosen a rewarding career here.

Why Schneider?

Schneider has been a leader in the trucking industry since 1935, and our logistics division was created in 1993. We were awarded the largest logistics industry contract ever awarded in 1994, and we’ve grown ever since — now boasting 7.2 million square feet of warehouse space. We’re in it for the long haul, and we’re excited for you to be part of our great Warehouse team and culture. You’ll enjoy using leading technology to get the job done more efficiently as you work together with your team to meet your goals.

“There’s not a trucking company out there that can hold a candle to how Schneider treats its associates and handles its customers. I stay here because the stability of knowing Schneider is going to be here in the future. We’re associate driven and always about safety.”
-Patrick, Traffic Operations Manager

Why Warehouse?

We hear it all the time: Warehouse careers aren’t glamorous, but they’re surprisingly fulfilling. It’s amazing how many people end up in the Warehouse almost by accident, and then choose to stay on purpose. Warehouses are like the gears to the economy, and without great people like you, the economy would come to a screeching halt. Step up to something big.

Ryan, Supervisor
“I wasn’t so much interested in warehouse work … but now I’m totally invested. Now this is going to be my career. One of the things I like at Schneider is you can see people get promoted up. That’s one of the things that always motivated me.”
-Ryan, Supervisor

Ongoing Growth Opportunities

You won’t need a gym membership if you start as a loader/unloader. It can be physically demanding, but the rapid growth opportunities aren’t just for your muscles — they’re for your career. Your hard work will be noticed, recognized and rewarded by leaders who care about you and your interests. Strengthen your body, mind and career. Great people like you can go so far here.

“Entry-level positions don’t stay entry-level positions. You can turn an entry-level job into a career. … What I love about my job is how gratifying it is to see people who work hard advance.”
-Vickie, HR Generalist

Safety First

Things move fast in the Warehouse — boxes in and out of trailers, stacking pallets, forklifts everywhere. That’s why it’s so important that Schneider lives out its number one core value: “Safety First and Always.” One segment of our Warehouse business went nearly two years without an incident. It’s just what we do.

“We take safety very seriously here. It’s engrained in onboarding, every day at start-up, when we do stretches at breaks. We have safety committees on every shift and have a continuous improvement program for safety.”
-Patrick, Traffic Operations Manager

Stable, Growing Company

If you’re going to invest your career in a company, you want to know it’ll be around for the long haul. Schneider will. Founder Al Schneider’s son Don said his goal was to build a company that lasts forever. We’re over 80 years young, and can’t wait for you to be part of the next 80 as a member of our Transloading and Distribution, Port Drayage and Warehousing team.

“Schneider’s longevity stands out. Schneider was here before I was, and it’ll be here when I leave. This is a place you can come to take care of your family.”
-PatrickEarl, Senior Receiving Supervisor
