Schneider is seeking a devoted Operations Director to develop and provide strategic and tactical plans, coaching and developing, providing clear direction, information sharing and delivering specific business results as dictated by the annual business plan.  This includes cost statement or P&L responsibility and leading revenue growth within the region or account.  Additional responsibilities may include direct accountability for driver capacity, associate productivity, equipment capital, service, and customer interaction.

  • Develop strategic business goals and action plans to promote profitable growth within a given region or account.
  • Identify, implement and monitor key business metrics to drive effective, low cost execution of results.
  • Set measurable goals for operations, sales, recruiting, safety and all aspects of running a successful business.
  • Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Ideal candidates will have:  

  • Bachelor or equivalent work experience. Four to six years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and develop leaders of people
  • Motivated to achieve outcomes and reach goals
