Schneider is seeking an Equipment Representative to join our team. You will handle a variety of requests and issues concerning Schneider equipment. You'll be responsible for discovering and resolving issues that arise through monitoring of equipment assets. Resolving the issues will require you to work with various partners from several departments, to include outside vendors and customers. This role will handle all aspects of equipment utilization focusing on exceptions, maintenance and reporting. Are you up for the challenge? About the role:
- Manage the on time delivery and accuracy of predefined delivery location of new equipment.
- Daily contact with operations, vendors and any other locations where trailers may be located to resolve equipment location issues.
- Proactively route trade equipment for sale to Schneider Operating Centers.
- Problem-solve and research lost, impound and towed units. Negotiate to reduce any cost incurred.
- Understand and identify when equipment abuse is occurring with carriers/customer and work with parties involved to resolve the issue.
- Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values.

Ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. One to two years relevant work experience
Ability to communicate effectively through means of written and oral communication with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Good judgement and initiative with strong decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively as a self-starter
