Schneider is seeking a detail oriented Senior Business Support Specialist to provide quality assurance for accessorial charges prior to invoicing through audits to ensure a high level of data accuracy and collection.  You will Investigate collection disputes to determine root cause and recommendation, identify opportunities to capture additional revenue and improve accessorial processes, as well as act as a consultant for other departments which impact the accessorial process.  

About the role:

  • Primary contact for escalated accessorial questions and issues, i.e. logic, capabilities, requirements.
  • Build trust-filled relationships with customers and internal counterparts through open communication, follow-up and timely problem resolution.
  • Identify, research and communicate any potential customer or process concerns / issues through work with the accessorial stake-holders (Accessorial Manager, CS, Sales, Rating, Collections, Operations).
  • Challenge the status quo to find ways to get Schneider paid for all costs.  Identify opportunities that capture additional accessorial revenue.
  • Analyze key factor reporting of detention measurements.

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • High School/GED or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of 2 years customer service and/or project/peer leadership experience in the transportation industry.
  • Basic knowledge or the ability to learn, to operate in various computer systems to include: COM, Events Extension, Sharepoint, Macros, OmniTracs, Excel, and Data Load, Rater Server.
  • Desire to become an expert in accessorial systems and processes.
  • Ability to perform work efficiently with a short lead time and manage multiple tasks or projects at one time in an organized manner.
