Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Lead Revenue Management Analyst in Green Bay to develop expert-level analytical solutions that inform, measure and optimize key business processes that focus on revenue management. The Lead Revenue Management Analyst will provide critical insight to the engineering team to advance data science models and be accountable for providing governance over decision tools that directly impact revenue and earnings.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data science models integrated into business processes.
- Facilitate and lead all aspects of revenue management ad hoc analysis and automation requests from the business.
- Recommend adjustments to model configuration settings, ad hoc analysis and model iterations.
- Work with business leaders to prepare detailed plans for new projects.
- Provide innovative ideas to key stakeholders for iteration of our existing automated systems and data science platforms.
- Design, develop and document dashboards, reports and analytical tools.
- Perform in-depth studies on the state of the freight market.
- Coach and mentor other associates to support and maintain complex production processes.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, economics, data science, data analytics or related field.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience.
- Experience with financial modeling, such as Proforma and P&L Analysis.
- Mastery in data analysis.
- Can understand and translate complex concepts of revenue management solutions.
- Experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL, JSON, XML, Oracle Dashboards, Tableau, Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.
- Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and applied statistics.
