Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Network Analyst in Green Bay to develop, install, monitor and troubleshoot complex voice and data networking systems. The Senior Network Analyst will also configure and maintain routers, switches, domain name systems, dynamic host configuration protocols and wireless controllers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex tasks related to the network operations, installation and maintenance of existing voice and data network systems.
  • Work with other IT associates to maintain and expand Schneider’s current service levels.
  • Participate in network planning and provide input on the selection of network equipment.
  • Integrate and depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
  • Perform system tuning and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Put together detailed project plans and network diagrams that cover data and voice connectivity solutions.
  • Coach, mentor and lead less experienced associates.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of IT experience in infrastructure or network environments.
  • Experience designing WAN connectivity solutions using MPLS, private lines (ethernet, T1, E1), Broadband, 802.11 wireless, fiber optics, HSRP, BGP, VPN, Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience with LiveAction, protocol analyzers, Microsoft Teams, VoIP, Wireshark, Ekahau Analyzer and Infoblox.
  • Knowledge of external IP presence, zone transfers and subdomains.
  • Understanding of firewalls and configuration rules.
