Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Vice President, Treasury in Green Bay to provide strategic leadership to the treasury and tax team. The VP, Treasury will define, develop and implement Schneider’s treasury strategy, which includes cash management, capital structure, investments, foreign currency management, audit defense and more. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate a clear strategic vision to the treasury team. 
  • Lead a team of other financial leaders. 
  • Engage with senior management to advance Schneider’s treasury strategy. 
  • Ensure the long-range financial plan is supportive of the company’s strategic plans and goals of enhancing shareholder value. 
  • Optimize the company’s capital structure by ensuring continuous improvement of the balance sheet and cash flow. 
  • Institute best practices of financial risk management, capital market management and cash and investment management. 
  • Supervise hedging policies and activities. 
  • Coordinate with the tax department on tax planning and cash position management. 
  • Participate in the financial evaluation of major capital projects, acquisitions and divestitures. 
  • Prepare treasury updates for Board of Director meetings. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 
  • A minimum of 8 years of public accounting and corporate finance experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent leadership skills.
