Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Payroll Systems & Compliance Manager in Green Bay to keep up with industry trends and legislative changes to ensure necessary adjustments are made to payroll processes and systems. The Payroll Manager will also manage payroll-related reporting, address payroll tax or garnishment inquiries and conduct internal audits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll-related reporting, including filings like 941s and W-2s.
- Address payroll tax and garnishment inquiries from employees and business partners.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and internal audits to resolve discrepancies.
- Design and implement organization-wide compliance policies and practices.
- Lead a team in developing strategic plans for payroll system improvements.
- Ensure payroll systems are designed and process accurately.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- CPP or FPC certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in payroll tax reconciliations, audits and regulatory filings.
- Experience with payroll systems and ADP Smart Compliance.
