Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Senior Capacity Sales Representative in Green Bay, Chicago or Dallas to develop the carrier strategy leveraging our third-party carrier network. The Senior Capacity Sales Representative will focus on growing relationships with Schneider's current carrier base to generate additional revenue and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Schneider’s carrier strategy to optimize network utilization.
- Conduct business reviews with top carriers to identify trends and opportunities.
- Sell capacity solutions to current and prospective customers alongside our sales team.
- Negotiate and close new carrier contracts.
- Design tailored capacity solutions for unique customer needs.
- Negotiate current contracts in collaboration with the brokerage team.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
