Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Truckload Operations Manager in Green Bay to provide leadership, oversight, innovation and growth for Schneider’s Truckload Network group. The Truckload Operations Manager will partner with Operations, Planning, Commercial, Recruiting, Engineering and Tech leaders to ensure goals are met and continuous improvements are made. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of Operations leaders. 
  • Execute daily operations in accordance with safety expectations and standards. 
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and deliver key business metrics to drive effective, low-cost results. 
  • Ensure the appropriate utilization of assets to maximize productivity. 
  • Lead incremental improvement projects and change management initiatives. 
  • Use innovation to streamline processes and procedures. 
  • Challenge the status quo while building business partnerships.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong leadership skills.
