Job overview:   

Schneider is seeking a Safety Analyst in Port Allen to act as the safety subject matter expert for a Dedicated customer account. The Safety Analyst will train and coach drivers, as well as analyze safety-related trends and data.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Lead training for new drivers on the Dedicated account.   
  • Review accidents that occur and carry out action plans for how to move forward.   
  • Complete weekly reporting of trends and come up with plans for improvement.    
  • Present findings and proposals to senior leaders to gain insights and alignment.    
  • Work with the curriculum development team to develop training modules for drivers.    
  • Conduct audits that examine safety, compliance, accidents, injuries, etc.    
  • Complete performance improvement training interventions as needed. 

Skills and qualifications:     

  • High school diploma or GED.    
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience training drivers.    
  • Driver Trainer Certified.    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
