Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Fleet Manager in Savannah, GA to serve as a coach to a group of owner-operator truck drivers who do business with Schneider. The Fleet Manager will talk to owner-operators about business-related issues and answer any questions they have related to their lease with Schneider.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate owner-operator business sessions.
- Ensure compliance with owner-operators' leases.
- Administer operating standards concerning public safety and regulatory compliance within Schneider and Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of two years of transportation experience preferred.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have solid analytical skills.
- Can take initiative.
- Able to understand how data drives technology.
