Job overview:      

Schneider is seeking a Data Science Intern in Green Bay, WI to provide support to Schneider’s Engineering department. The Data Science Intern will leverage Data Science tools to enhance key business processes.    

Responsibilities:     

  • Collaborate with the engineering and data science teams to research, develop and apply new concepts.    
  • Assist in creating prototype applications to implement new concepts.    
  • Communicate the value of projects to non-technical stakeholders.    
  • Internship-specific opportunities:     
  • Networking events with Schneider associates.     
  • Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders.     
  • Business resource groups meetings and events.     
  • Volunteer activities.     
  • After-work social gatherings.  

Skills and qualifications:     

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university.    
  • Working toward a Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.   
  • Able to work full-time over the summer.    
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization.    
  • Experience with Python, Git, and SQL.
