Job overview:     

Schneider is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in Green Bay, WI to provide support to Schneider’s buyers and purchasing managers. The Supply Chain Intern will help execute capacity plans to meet the needs of a customer.    

Responsibilities:    

  • Understand a customer’s supply chain strategy and objectives, including transportation needs, shipping requirements and more.    
  • Help with procurement-related tasks, including payment resolution.    
  • Assist with picking service provider and capacity options that align with the customer’s objectives and strategy.    
  • Work with buyers to provide transportation solutions to customers.    
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, internal team members and customers.

Skills and qualifications:     

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university.    
  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or a related field.    
  • Able to work full-time over the summer.    
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.    
  • Excellent computer skills.    
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office programs.    
  • Able to work on-site.
