Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Supply Chain Intern in Green Bay, WI to provide support to Schneider’s buyers and purchasing managers. The Supply Chain Intern will help execute capacity plans to meet the needs of a customer.
Responsibilities:
- Understand a customer’s supply chain strategy and objectives, including transportation needs, shipping requirements and more.
- Help with procurement-related tasks, including payment resolution.
- Assist with picking service provider and capacity options that align with the customer’s objectives and strategy.
- Work with buyers to provide transportation solutions to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, internal team members and customers.

Skills and qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or a related field.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office programs.
- Able to work on-site.
