Job overview:     

Schneider is seeking a Department Assistant in Green Bay to provide comprehensive administrative support to the department and executive leadership. The Department Assistant will be responsible for managing correspondence (phone, email, etc.), scheduling calendars and distributing mail.    

Responsibilities:     

  • Provide general administrative support by coordinating meetings, preparing reports and arranging travel.    
  • Prepare and edit materials for presentations, including graphs and charts.    
  • Oversee department supplies, equipment, orders, inventory and budget.    
  • Work with other associates and external vendors, contractors and suppliers while handling confidential data.    
  • Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders.    
  • Serve as a backup to other department support associates as needed.    
  • Help organize department events that build cultural and community engagement.

Skills and qualifications:     

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.    
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.    
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.    
  • Strong attention to detail.
