Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Business Operations Analyst in Romulus to provide analytical support and compliance reports involving the daily operations of an account or service offering. The Business Operations Analyst will create recommendations to improve supply chain processes and work closely with buyers, customers and account managers to enhance customer value and generate revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customers' supply chain strategies, objectives and success measures.
- Provide technical support to find transportation solutions and evaluate against customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet common goals and cost saving targets.
- Identify new service offerings that could benefit customers.
- Understand supply chain strategies and core processes to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and analyze data to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, computer science or a related field.
- 2-4 years of previous logistics or transportation experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong strategic-thinking skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once.
