Job overview:
Schneider is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst in Green Bay to provide analysis on a broad spectrum of operational and financial issues. The Associate Financial Analyst will also contribute to the annual planning and budgeting processes and give financial support to key areas of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the operating procedures and policies of various departments and recommend improvement plans.
- Analyze department expenditures for reasonableness and recommend cost reduction opportunities.
- Develop decision support tools that can enhance departments’ understanding of their cost structures and drivers.
- Assist with preparing monthly reports and narratives.
- Participate in ongoing financial initiatives, including planning, budgeting and reporting.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting.
- One plus years of finance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automated financial systems, including Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills.
