Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Freight Broker in Green Bay to establish and grow relationships with carriers and source carrier capacity. The Freight Broker will also coach and mentor new freight brokers.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, prospect for and generate new carriers. 
  • Sell load opportunities to new and existing carriers. 
  • Quote, negotiate prices and commit transportation services. 
  • Manage freight pickup, transit and drop-off to ensure excellent service. 
  • Work with sales reps and the network management team to provide short- and long-term solutions for carriers. 
  • Help new freight brokers grow their book of business. 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • One plus years of sales experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to take initiative.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
