Job overview:    

Schneider is seeking an Equipment Acquisition Specialist in Green Bay to assist with the purchase, titling, delivery and servicing of the company’s tractors and trailers. The Equipment Acquisition Specialist will work on licensing and registering new equipment, while working closely with operations teams, suppliers and vendors.    

Responsibilities:    

  • Handle all responsibilities associated with ordering new tractors and trailers – communicating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, verifying specifications, etc.    
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, including establishing delivery dates, coordinating in-processing and activating new units.    
  • Create reports for order statuses, prices, specifications and inventories.    
  • Dispose of equipment that is no longer producing revenue.    
  • Handle permits, plates and registrations that need to be renewed annually.    
  • Stay informed of changes to regulations and laws concerning vehicle registration and licensing.    

Skills and qualifications:    

  • Associate’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong computer skills.   
  • Licensing experience preferred.
