Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Recruiting Manager in Green Bay, WI to lead a team of recruiting associates, including both leaders of others and individual contributors. The Recruiting Manager will make decisions related to driver hiring strategies, cost savings efforts and lead generation actions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, training and mentoring to a team of driver recruiting leaders and associates.
- Work with other driver recruiting leaders to ensure department goals and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with other driver recruiting teams to ensure recruiting strategies align with the organization’s needs.
- Develop new workflows and processes based on areas of opportunity.
- Analyze data and develop process improvements to ensure business results are met.
- Establish appropriate performance goals by evaluating previous business results.
- Enhance the team’s performance by implementing training opportunities.
- Interview, hire and onboard new driver recruiting associates.
- Promote a positive, high-performing work environment for associates.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, sales or related field.
- 5-7 years of previous recruiting, customer service or transportation experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
