The mission of the Richmond Community College Commercial truck driver Training Course is to provide quality training for operating commercial motor vehicles through classroom instruction and BTW (behind the wheel) training on the road course and highway training for students to acquire the skills necessary to obtain a commercial driver’s license. Subjects include Pre-trip inspection, basic vehicle control, proper use of clutch and gears, proper backing techniques, coupling/uncoupling, defensive driving, roads and conditions, observation of highway laws.Richmond Community College CDL training location(s)
