Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator in Green Bay to manage and develop transportation and customer contracts, amendments and statements of work. The Senior Contract Administrator will provide summaries of contract issues, recommend contract changes, provide risk analysis and negotiate contracts with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze contracts, statements of work and other documents.
- Coach business leaders on contract processes.
- Negotiate contracts with customers on behalf of Schneider.
- Manage the security and retention of contracts in accordance with established processes.
- Track the renewal and termination dates of contracts and generate new ones as needed.
- Represent the Legal Team during matters related to risk analysis and contract guidance.
- Serve as a legal consultant for business leaders.
- Make recommendations regarding standard contract provisions to various business groups.
- 20% travel to be included, travel to Baltimore from time to time
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Able to understand complex contracts and agreements.
