Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to support the Auto Liability team in Green Bay.  The Senior Claims Adjuster will fully investigate, analyze and resolve complex claims and incidents. The Senior Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider. 
  • Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim. 
  • Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more. 
  • Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization. 
  • Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider. 
  • Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative. 
  • Accurately document all claims activities. 
  • Provide actionable insight as an effective business partner to minimize risk to the organization. 
  • Provide onboarding and training to other claims associates.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
