Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Team Leader in Green Bay, WI to oversee Schneider’s maintenance call center and lead a team of maintenance associates. The Fleet Maintenance Team Leader will ensure their team is making efficient and cost-effective repair decisions while also adhering to maintenance operating plans. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of maintenance associates. 
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and coach associates. 
  • Ensure the team provides superior customer service to drivers when they call in with equipment breakdowns. 
  • Work with vendors and the payment team to resolve invoice discrepancies. 
  • Establish compliance with standard operating procedures. 
  • Create solid business relationships with fleet maintenance support associates and internal customers. 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Two plus years of diesel or automotive repair experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
