Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a (Junior) Claims Specialist in Green Bay to collect information from various sources when presented with a claim. The (Junior) Claims Specialist will work with other team members throughout the entire claims process, with the goal of settling and subrogating the claim.    

Responsibilities: 

  • Create accident claims that come in via phone call or email message. 
  • Add information to claims, such as loss details, subrogation status, accident classification and involved parties. 
  • Follow up with the Department of Transportation regarding claims. 
  • Hire independent adjusters for major accidents. 
  • Request police reports. 
  • Provide information to the Regulatory Department about driver accident classification appeals. 
  • Audit invoices from suppliers. 
  • Respond to claim inquiries via phone calls and emails.

Skills and qualifications:    

  • High school diploma or GED.   
  • 1 year of professional work experience.   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.   
  • Strong attention to detail.   
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
