Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Software Engineering Team Leader in Green Bay, WI to oversee solution delivery and lead a team of software engineers. The Software Engineering Team Leader will provide process and technical direction and day-to-day work instruction.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Define, document, monitor and analyze processes within the information technology infrastructure library framework. 
  • Analyze complex cross-functional business requirements and process flows. 
  • Make recommendations for process improvements. 
  • Manage contracted vendors and take corrective action when expectations are not met. 
  • Resolve domain-related problems. 
  • Analyze current practices, user needs and workflow processes and methodologies. 
  • Maintain an understanding of SOX requirements to ensure processes are compliant. 
  • Resolve complex support problems. 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems.
  • Experience leading a solution delivery team for a transportation or logistics company.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
