Job overview:    

Schneider is seeking a Senior Customer Specialist in Green Bay to act as a link between the company, our customers and our railroad partners in order to ensure the successful execution of Schneider’s intermodal services. The Senior Customer Specialist will monitor customer orders, resolve service issues and drive continues improvement efforts.    

Responsibilities:    

  • Use various tools and programs to track and update intermodal orders.    
  • Provide timely ETA updates to internal and external customers.    
  • Engage with customers via email, phone calls and instant messages.    
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and railroad partners when issues arise.    
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and railroad partners to drive service excellence and business growth.    
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance service, efficiency and revenue.    
  • Analyze service defects and trends to determine the root causes and implement corrective actions. 

Skills and qualifications:     

  • High school diploma or GED.    
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.    
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.    

Pay and benefits:    

  • Additional $1.25/hr. (a minimum of 4 continuous hours worked between the hours of 1600-0500 local time) or $2.00/hr. (weekend hours worked between 2100 Friday and 0500 Monday).
