Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Green Bay, WI to mitigate enterprise risk related to changing laws regarding pay, ensure compliance of processes and analyze payroll results to ensure accuracy of pay. The Payroll Analyst will do this by preparing reconciliations, doing reviews, completing audits and compiling information. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review payrolls and off-cycle payments. 
  • Analyze payroll data, track metrics and suggest improvements. 
  • Solve daily processing issues by analyzing root causes and validating data. 
  • Address incoming cases to meet Service Level Agreement compliance, document resolutions and escalate complex issues. 
  • Document workflows, improve procedures and participate in system upgrades. 
  • Compile data and generate reports. 
  • Conduct thorough research and respond quickly to inquiries. 
  • File statutory filings not covered by 3rd party vendors and respond to agency notices.  

Skills and qualifications:

  • Associate degree in related field.
  • Two plus years of payroll experience.
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification or Certified Payroll Professional desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to analyze various courses of action and make recommendations.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities at once.
